“This tour is much harder than advertised. First, if you’re not staying directly in the designated city area, they won’t pick you up—I was just 10 minutes away and still couldn’t get transportation. Second, the guide isn’t with you the whole time. In my case, the guide went off on a solo hike and just told us, “Climb there and I’ll meet you.” The river portion is especially tough. Hiking upstream is very challenging, and the actual “tour” part at the river lasted less than 10 minutes before the difficult climb back up began.
